What is a Midwife? 

At Midwifery Collective you and your baby are being cared for by a team of registered midwives up until 6 weeks postpartum. All of the midwives work together collectively to ensure you receive the best possible care.  At the Midwifery Collective  of Essex County ,we provide free, safe and excellent care.

What is Primary Healthcare?

A midwife is a regulated health professional who provides primary care to a person and their baby throughout pregnancy, labour, birth, and the first six weeks postpartum. Midwives are experts in low-risk pregnancy and birth.
